He is the Chairman of Maulana Azad Minorities Financial Corporation (a Govt of Maharashtra undertaking) and the Senior Vice President of Anjuman Islam, the country’s largest minority educational and social institution, engaged in shaping educational landscape of Mumbai for over a century with more than 100 Institutions and over one lakh students. He is the President of The Kokan Unnati Mitra Mandal, a trust having two colleges and one high school in the Kokan Region. He is Trustee and managing committee member of Vasantrao Naik Agricultural Research & Rural Development Centre, which focuses on improving agricultural productivity through technology.

He is the Chairman of Majrooh Academy, Mumbai and Station Road Masjid Trust, Kurla. He is Vice President of Ideal Education Movement, Mumbai and Tanzeem-e-Walidein, Mumbai.
